Sale of Champions During the Oklahoma Youth Expo, the youth of 4-H and FFA programs around the state are rewarded for their hard work and time dedicated to their junior livestock projects. A percentage of the number of animals in each species is chosen to be sold in the elite Sale of Champions which honors the top 195 animals and exhibitors participating in the Oklahoma Youth Expo.
In 2008 the Diamond Hats purchased eight animals in the Sale of Champions and contributed largely to Oklahoma's junior livestock exhibitors for the support of future livestock projects and higher educational pursuits.
Diamond Hats Sale of Champions Silent Auction Funds generated from the silent auction held during the Sale of Champions are spent on the purchase of animals.
This One's for the Girls An afternoon of entertainment, fashion and fun (just for the girls) is hosted during the Oklahoma Youth Expo. 2008 marked the inaugural year for this event in which Miss Rodeo America, Miss Rodeo Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma as well as others shared inspirational messages with those in attendance. This event strives to teach young women proper etiquette,
dress attire for all occasions, leadership skills and self confindence while utilizing a number of the most successful businesswomen in the agricultural industry today.
Diamond Hats Ball The Diamond Hats Ball is an elegant, black tie optional evening held to raise money for youth in agriculture and allow those in the agricultural industry and opportunity to don their best attire and support young people across the state. Both live and silent auctions are a part of this exciting evening as well as numerous other opportunities to contribute to Oklahoma's youth.
Howdy Social Summer Cookout This is an opportunity for Diamond Hats members and their families to get together and
enjoy an evening of friends, great food and fellowship.
